Hala Deco is a trading name of Yiwu Xiduo Artware Co., Ltd., a manufacturer and exporter based in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China. This policy explains what personal information we collect through haladeco.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. What we collect

We only collect what you give us, plus basic technical data from your visit.

• Enquiry details — name, company, country, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and whatever you write in the message field.
• Order details — if you become a customer: billing and delivery addresses, purchase history, and shipping documentation.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring source, collected through standard web analytics.

We do not ask for, and do not want, payment card numbers through this website. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

2. Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
• To process and ship orders, and to issue commercial documents.
• To follow up on quotations you have asked for, and to tell you about products relevant to a range you have enquired about.
• To understand which pages and catalogues are useful, so we can improve them.

3. Advertising audiences

This section is here because most supplier sites do not mention it, and we would rather you know.

If you have enquired with us, we may use the email address and phone number you gave us to build a matched audience on advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google or X. This lets us show product updates to people who already asked us about them, and more often it lets us stop showing acquisition advertising to people who are already talking to us.

How it works technically: your email address and phone number are converted to an irreversible cryptographic hash (SHA-256) before they are sent to the platform. The platform matches the hash against its own user records. We do not send your name, your address, or anything you wrote to us. We do not sell your details to anyone.

If you would rather not be included, email [email protected] with the subject line “remove me from advertising audiences”. We will remove you within 30 days and you will stay removed.

4. Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary, and only with processors bound to use it for our purposes:

• Hosting and content delivery — Cloudflare.
• Object storage — Cloudflare R2, for product images.
• Business systems — Feishu (Lark), for enquiry and order records.
• Email delivery — for transactional and quotation email.
• Advertising platforms — as described in section 3, hashed identifiers only.
• Freight forwarders and customs brokers — only what is required to ship your goods.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become orders — up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Customer and order records — as long as Chinese tax and export regulations require, and for as long as we have an ongoing trading relationship.
• Advertising audience hashes — refreshed quarterly; anyone who opts out is removed and never re-added.

6. Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies: one to remember your enquiry list, and analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are read. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you across other websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site still works, though your enquiry list will not be remembered.

7. Your rights

Whichever country you are in, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete it, where we are not required to keep it for tax or customs reasons;
• stop using it for marketing or for advertising audiences.

Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not hand your records to someone else.

8. Where your data is stored

Our business is operated from China, and some of the processors named in section 4 store data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on those processors’ standard contractual terms for international transfers.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not apply a new purpose to information you gave us under an older version without telling you.
